Our Company


Exicom Limited is based in New Zealand, and designs, develops and manufactures a sophisticated range of VHF, UHF and microwave point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless telecommunications equipment.

New Zealand presents an ideal environment for the design and testing of point-to-point or point-to-multipoint radio links, having diverse weather patterns and varied terrain. As a result, our products are of robust construction, and operate reliably in some of the harshest environments around the world.


Our mission

To be the most preferred supplier of remote access radio-telecommunications equipment for linking hard to reach people, products and places. We will be regarded by both our customers and competitors as setting global standards of excellence in product performance, delivery, and service.


Our heritage

Exicom's history dates back to 1913 when AWA (Australia) established a wholly owned subsidiary in New Zealand. The first New Zealand designed radios were produced in the early 1950s, and point-to-point radio links were first exported in the early 1980s. In 1988, AWA sold its telecommunications businesses, including the specialist radio business in New Zealand, to Exicom Ltd. Since that time, Exicom has been committed to the manufacturing of radio communication equipment to keep people, communities and businesses connected in hard to reach, remote regions around the world.


Our track record

Exicom’s point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio links are operating in over 200 countries. Our radios are used for many different applications in many different industry categories on every continent. From weather monitoring in Alaska to extending the PSTN network in outback Australia, Exicom radios are the equipment of choice for many public and private organisations around the world.
