Exicom radios are used for many different applications, ranging from simple exchange / subscriber links to extension of complex telecommunications and data networks. They are used in many different industries and in a wide range of applications around the world. Our radios are used in over 200 countries around the world, each with unique environmental, geographic, and weather conditions. What frequency bands do your radios operate in? Analogue: What distances do your radios cover? Typically, our radios meet customer requirements up to 70 km, and in some instances can operate to greater distances. Our team can assist in determining the most effective distance for a radio depending on desired availability, environmental conditions and path-profile conditions. How can I extend the range of the radios? A Repeater Terminal is available to assist with coverage; either to increase range or bypass larger obstructions. Contact us for details. Is full line of sight required? In most circumstances, a relatively unobstructed path profile is required. However, each path is unique. Our team can assist in advising whether a path is suitable for the radio. We are looking for radios that work in some extreme weather conditions - how will they operate in very hot or very cold climates? Our radios are designed to operate in most conditions between –30°C to +55°C.
