EX6200 HAWK2

Dual channel VHF/UHF radio offering 24 kb/s** data speed per channel.

The HAWK2 was developed in response to an industry need for a dual channel radio with the ability to transfer data at speeds of up to 24 kb/s over long distances, and still maintain a full telephony / fax / modem capability. The HAWK2 builds on the legacy of the successful HAWK radio, and has a number of added features and benefits. The HAWK2's flexibility in configuration combined with the ability of the radio to operate over significant distances has seen links being used for a variety of applications in many different industries around the world.

• 'Link Fail' alarm facility allows the status of the Link to be periodically checked for RSSI level and Ident Code operation. An external relay contact provides notification via a suitable alarm method (e.g. bell, light) as desired.

• 'Adaptive hybrid balance' function improves Link performance by compensating for local Exchange line conditions.

• Use of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology provides superior audio performance and integral speech privacy.

• Low power consumption makes the HAWK2 ideal for applications requiring solar powered sites.

• Has proven ability both in harsh environments and in regions subject to extreme weather conditions. An ideal alternative for applications where traditional copper lines are not viable and other technologies are not cost effective.
